The AI Bot Roast

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026

The AI Bot Roast is a privately administered podcast automation application. This policy explains how the application handles information when its authorised administrator connects a Google account and produces podcast episodes.

Information we process

How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate the administrator, import selected newsletters, identify potential stories, generate podcast materials, prevent duplicate processing, and publish approved episodes through the podcast RSS feed.

Service providers

The application uses Google Gmail APIs for authorised newsletter access, Supabase for secure application data and media storage, Vercel for application hosting, OpenAI for script and artwork generation, and ElevenLabs for voice generation. Only the information required to perform each operation is sent to the relevant provider.

Google API data

The AI Bot Roast's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used for advertising, sold, or transferred for purposes unrelated to the application's podcast automation features.

Storage and security

OAuth credentials and application data are stored in server-side systems and are not exposed to browser clients. Access to administrative features is restricted to the configured administrator account. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained only while it is needed to operate the podcast and maintain its publishing history. Google access can be revoked from the administrator's Google Account at any time. Requests to access or delete stored information can be sent to the contact below.
